As seniors continue to decide where their next steps will take them, many are taking college visits. Back in September, Grand Canyon University (GCU) visited Grove City Christian School (GCC) in college and career. GCU offered that any students interested in their campus could come tour through an event called Discover GCU. GCU paid for the students’ plane tickets and any other expenses along the way.

The trip took place from October 30 through October 31. Students from GCC left on a flight from Columbus to Dallas, and then from Dallas to Phoenix. Upon arrival, we were greeted by GCU staff who took us to their campus. Many events were planned for us that day such as a campus tour, scavenger hunt, basketball game, and free time. Many of our current GCCS students also were able to meet up with GCCS alumni attending GCU!

The second day included breakout sessions for students’ intended major. GCC students were involved in engineering, education, human resources, nursing, criminal justice, and many more programs of study. Many students enjoyed the trip and are looking to attend GCU in the fall.
