Toy Drive for Moms to be

Grove City Christian High Schools Rox Program ran a toy and book drive for moms to be. Moms to be is an organization through OSU Wexner Medical Center. They really needed the help as there is over two hundred moms and five hundred kids this year in the program. We got connected to them through Southwest Interact Club. Through this drive, Grove City Christian gathered lots of books and toys. We were able to give one toy and two to three books per family!

Sophia Baugess and Mrs. Gillespie made this happen! Sophia Baugess said:

“As President of Southwest Interact Club and a former partner with Moms2B in the past, this year, I really wanted to make a direct impact on the lives in my community. Without the open ears and hearts of administration and Mrs. Gillespie, this project would not have been possible. After presenting the ideas to Mrs. Gillespie and Mr. McMillian, they were immediately on board with hosting a schoolwide drive for Moms2B. After seeing the ROX girls realize how great of an impact their contributions and the rest of the student body made on the Moms2B community, I have hope that the future grades will continue to work with Mom2B. It truly is a privilege to be able to touch the lives of those in my community alongside my peers.”
