Eagles Win Big On Senior Night

On Tuesday,  May 9th, the Grove City Christian Eagles varsity baseball team had their senior night against Wellington High School. The eagles baseball team is graduating two seniors, Zach Stawser and Dane Long, who were recognized on Tuesday night. The coach of the Eagles, AJ McCampell, had a speech about both the players before the game and both of the players dads’ pitched to the before the game started. The two seniors started for the Eagles as Dane Long was on the mound for the eagles and he is also going to be continuing his baseball career at Alderson Broaddus in West Virginia. The other senior, Zach Strawser, started behind the plate for the eagles at catcher Zach will not be continuing his baseball career, but will be serving in the U.S. Coast Guard. Overall it was a successful night for the Eagles as they beat Wellington 12-1 and moved onto the playoffs where they hope to make a long post season run.
