New tent for soccer team in memory of Number 7
David and Rhonda Dick with their daughter Rachel, a GCCS 2012 graduate
October 10, 2017

Number 7 Josh Dick
Prior to the start of the first home game this season against New Hope, Mr. and Mrs. David Dick and their daughter Rachel, a GCCS 2012 graduate, presented the Varsity Soccer team with a tent in memory of Number 7, Joshua Dick.
The tent is being used at home soccer games and is usually put up by parent volunteers.
Josh played soccer for GCCS from 2011-2014 and was an important part of the varsity team. He loved soccer and enjoyed playing the game. Mr. and Mrs. Dick wanted to present the school with something that would represent his legacy and love of the sport.
The number 7 is displayed on the soccer field in loving memory of Josh.

The ceremony started with some words from Mr. David Dick. Followed by prayer led by Mr. Aaron Holley, former Bible teacher at GCCS and Soccer Coach from 2012-2016.
