New York Band Trip!

Melinda Baker, Editor

Recently, over spring break, the Grove City Christian Band loaded a bus and headed off to New York. The band departed very early in the morning and arrived in New York after many long hours of driving. Students and chaperones were eager to arrive, but very tired from the day of traveling. While there, the band was scheduled to showcase their talents in an outdoor concert as well as do a lot of other “touristy” activities. These activities included visiting Trump Tower, the Statue of Liberty, a play on Broadway, and Chinatown! The band was gone for a total of six, tiresome, and busy days! After talking with some of the band members, Dalina Phompenchagne mentioned that her favorite part of the trip was, “going to see the broadway musical Aladdin!”

We would also like to give a special thank you to Mr. Lauron and Mrs. Beard for the amazing pictures of the trip!
