New Years Resolution

The New Year is here! Only a few days in to 2019 and the motivation of people across America is flourishing. With each New Year comes the new glimmering hope of people as they create their New Year’s resolutions in an attempt to better themselves. Just what is a New Years resolution?  A New Year’s Resolution is a tradition in which a person resolves to change an undesired trait or behavior, to accomplish a personal goal or otherwise improve their life. The concept of resolutions is a beautiful thing. They signify an ending on the bad habits of our past selves, and create an available space to build new, healthy habits for the betterment of our lives.

There are always the typical New Year’s resolutions. Lose weight, Workout Everyday, Eat Healthy, be more social, etc.

However let’s take a direct look at specific resolutions. I talked with Sydney King about her New Year’s Resolutions. She said “I would like to work hard at everything I do and put genuine effort into everything.”

I also talked with Morgan Iverson about her New Year’s Resolutions, and she said “This year I am going to put less pressure on myself, and enjoy the little things.”

These are examples of great new year’s resolutions that are attainable, and still healthy for each person.

Overall the New Year has started off amazing! Keep your goals attainable and you’re setting yourself up for a fabulous 2019.
